An interesting insight into how this area has developed with the kind of appeal/desirablity it now has. It's at least 60 years since I as a school child on a field trip travelled to Liverpool and then along the ship canal in to the port of Manchester. At that time I recall it was both busy and sad with so much abandonment or neglect if it wasn't a functioning part of the port. I'd really like to see it once again on my next UK visit as a pedestrian.

I knew Manchester sufficiently well enough to be able to recognize it in photo's or video. Even though I now live overseas, I don't think I can now recognize it either by drone views or when flying into the airport any longer. The last time I was there was 2020, at that time I counted/was aware there were 65 tower cranes on the horizon. These videos show there have been many more since. I'm sure that at ground level I will always find my way around the city centre, but beyond I think many familiar landmarks will be less obvious. It truly demonstrates that "they don't make land anymore!" and the only way for Manchester to deal with it's conservation whilst increasing popularity/population is for it to grow upwards as many other world cities.

As equal in quality as part 1!... I'm impressed once again. The opening moments reminded me of having travelled to Edale for the day and looking around one saw hills and dales as far as the eye could see, then turning and seeing the opposing skyline of Manchester without being in it. I greatly appreciate the vision and presentation of a city I greatly admire and lust for another opportunity to experience soon.

An amazing and spectacularly filmed panorama of Manchester Skyline. I have lived overseas for 2/3 of my lifetime, but from time to time my visits back to Manchester have been filled with admiration for the way the city both preserves it's heritage and looks to the future in equal measure. My last visit in 2020 astonished me, I counted 46+ tower cranes on the horizons so it was no surprise I didn't recognize parts or this video. I always feel that people who don't know what to expect of Manchester greatly underestimate it's vibrant lifestyle and ability to impress both by day and night or it's ability to inspire adventurism or adrenaline as you partake in it's sights, sounds or opportunities to experience it's lifestyles. I'll be back once again some day soon to feed my nostalgia.

There is an amazing sight of the lights of Manchester when your driving over from Yorkshire on the M62, As you drop down from the Pennines, just before you get to the exit for Rochdale the hills either side of the motorway part, as if a curtain is opening both sides, and before you are the lights of Manchester opening up and stretching out before your eyes. Its an amazing view, and it always make me think,,, ahh im home !!

Beautiful! I'm a Mancunian. You've made my home look breathe taking sir. I have drone footage of over Manchester central on my channel from 5 years ago before all the skycsrapers were built if you want a comparison. Also feel free to use the footage for a comparison video if you wish.

Manchester should absolutely save much of the industrial revolution infrastructure as it can, while integrating it into it's ongoing transformation. There is something magical walking amongst old factores that have been turned into classy hangouts and high rise glassy buildings. It's quite unique in the UK, but you do see it in places like Hong Kong and to some degree Singapore and Malaysia. *Protect the Heritage, Integrate the Future*

Beautifully filmed as per usual. The metamorphosis of Mcr & Salford is a phenomenon with unprecented building just like in the 1800's. Please note Viadux2 which includes possibly the largest residential building in Europe was lodged by application 3 weeks ago, with it due a hearing the following week. Fantastic video. Come back in 5 years time and the city will be double in size especially if you include Salford Quays and the Trafford areas. Hopefully, Trafford Waters and Therme Manchester will be completed by then.
